Safety of materials used in the PEGAS bottle filler

The Novosibirskprodmash Company manufactures the PEGAS bottle filler for the manual dispensing of beer and carbonated beverages. Its operation is characterized by fast and foam - free dispensing of foamy beverages (beer, kvass, cider etc) in CO2 atmosphere.

Several components of the PEGAS bottle filler (i.e. beer supply hose, PEGAS body parts) have short-term contact with a beverage filled in a bottle that’s why we want our Customers to be sure in the Product safety as well as in the Product quality.

The Federal Law No. 29-ÔÇ regulates the quality as well as safety of foodstuff and beverages within the territory of Russia. It obliges the manufacturing enterprise to examine all technical documents, materials used in the manufacture and the finished product for conformance to the Russian Hygienic and Sanitary standards, norms and regulations.

The PEGAS bottle filler is manufactured in compliance with the Technical specifications. They have been examined in the Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Novosibirsk region and approved by the Chief sanitary officer in the Territorial Office of the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights and Welfare Protection or Rospotrebnadzor. As a result we have the Sanitary - Epidemiologic Conclusion Certificate for ÒÓ 5131-002-48278688-04 (Rev. 1) based on the expert conclusion.

Along with the conformance certificates and the Sanitary - Epidemiologic Conclusion Certificate issued by the Rospotrebnadzor authorities which certify the safety of the materials used in the PEGAS manufacture, we carried out the examination of the materials and components used in the PEGAS bottle filler in the certified laboratory of the Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Novosibirsk region according to the laws of the Russian Federation.

The Protocol of the Product extracts testing (exposure – 1 day) certifies that the safety requirements to the materials and components correspond to ÃÍ 2.3.3.972-00 - The maximum permissible amount of chemical substances released from the materials contacting with foodstuff. The hazardous chemical substances to be determined are given in Table 1.

Once a year the safety of materials used in the PEGAS bottle filler is certified by additional tests within the Program of manufacturing control.

Requirements to washing - disinfecting procedures of the PEGAS bottle filler are similar to those for conventional beer taps.
